Joy Luck Collective was born from a 20-year friendship and a shared love of Mah Jongg. Today we teach, play, and celebrate the game across Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Two Friends, One Passion
Jacqueline and Lisa have been friends for over 20 years. What started as a casual game night tradition grew into something neither of them expected — a full-blown community.
After years of teaching friends and family how to play, they decided to make it official. Joy Luck Collective launched with a simple mission: share the joy of Mah Jongg with everyone.
Today they lead lessons, host events, and bring together players of all skill levels across the DMV area.
